The viral marketing magic

Giorgio Bruni, a video and film-maker and a member of the Messers group, told me the amazing story behind these Aldi adverts and I fell in love with them. Obviously, I’m the only fan as they’ve become viral within a few days and the director MJ Delaney has been nominated for the best advertising director in Cannes festival.

This one is my favorite, although the others are worth watching.

Ideas worth spreading

A friend of mine who helps to organise TEDx events and is a big fan of TED talks showed me this video which proves that social media platforms such as Youtube can also be used for educational purposes and not merely for shallow entertainment. Salman Khan’s concept of reinvention of education is great and could lead to development of ways of using social media. Anyway, I think that some of the TED speakers have excellent ideas and the Ideas Worth Spreading website is definitely worth checking out.
